{201}: Yet, there are some others who would say: “O Creator -Nurturer Lord! Grant us a thing of fine in this world, and also something fine in the Hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the Fire.”

{202}: Those [who are looking for prosperity in this world and the Next] are the (True) ones who will have a share of what they have achieved, for Allah Glory to Him in the highest is Swift at reckoning.

{203}: And remember Allah Glory to Him in the highest during the appointed [three] days [that the pilgrims are at Mina,] yet anyone who is in hurry to accomplish it within two days, commits no sins, neither does one who remains [for three days] commit sins – provided he does his duty. However, be heedful of Allah Glory to Him in the highest and know that before Him you shall be gathered.

{204}: And there is a certain one among men, whose word about the worldly life may surprise you, yet he calls Allah Glory to Him in the highest to witness what in his heart is, but he is the extremist of opponents.

{205}: And when he [is given an authority or] finds an opportunity, he tries to cause mischief on the earth. He destroys the crops (of people) and damages the breeding stock though Allah Glory to Him in the highest dislikes corruption.

{206}: And when he is said, ‘Be heedful of Allah Glory to Him in the highest’, a [false] sense of self-conceit leads him off to sin. Therefore, he might count on Hell – what an evil shelter it is!

{207}: Yet among the people there is one who sells his own [most precious] life while craving the approval of Allah Glory to Him in the highest, [no matter how tiny their good deeds might be Allah rewards them – for] Allah Glory to Him in the highest is most Kind to (His) worshippers.

{208}: O you who believe, [accept Islam fully and] enter [peacefully] into submission and do not follow Satan’s footsteps; he is indeed an open enemy to you.

{209}: But if you stumble after [so many] explanations have come to you know that [you cannot avoid Allah, for] Allah Glory to Him in the highest is the Wise All-mighty.

{210}: Are those [who are not peace-seekers, and are not following Islam] waiting for Allah Glory to Him in the highest and His angels to come to them from under the canopies of the clouds [and speak to them face to face] while the matter has been settled? [It will never happen] and to Allah Glory to Him in the highest all matters return [at last].

{211}: (O Prophet,) ask the Children of Israel how many clear Signs We have given them. Anyone who changes the Blessing of Allah Glory to Him in the highest after it has come to him [he will get punishment,] for Allah Glory to Him in the highest is strict in punishment.

{212}: The life of this world has[so much] attracted [and beguiled] the disbelievers [that] they humiliate those who believe – yet those who do their Divine duties [by obeying Allah] will advance them on the Day of Resurrection, and Allah Glory to Him in the highest grants sustenance to anyone He desires without reckoning.

{213}: [In the beginning,] humanity had been a single nation, [but gradually they developed and disagreed,] then Allah Glory to Him in the highest sent messengers to give good news [to the righteous] and to warn [the sinful]. He sent with them the Right Books in order to guide people about what they had been arguing. However, the ones who were given (the Book) argued about it out of envy towards one another after explanation had been brought to them. Therefore, by His Grace, Allah Glory to Him in the highest guided those who believed to the Truth of what they disagreed about. For Allah Glory to Him in the highest guides anyone He desires to the straight path.

{214}: Do you expect you will enter paradise yet the same thing has not happened to you as [it had happened] to those who passed away before you? [Because] they had been afflicted with severe poverty and ailments and they had been battered about until [their] messenger and those who had believed said: “So when is the Support of Allah Glory to Him in the highest?” [Then, they had received good news that] “Ah! In fact, the support of Allah Glory to Him in the highest is imminent.”

{215}: (O Prophet,) they will ask you about what they should spend [as charity,] say: “Whatever wealth you contribute should be spent on your parents, near relatives, orphans, the needy and the wayfarers. And Allah Glory to Him in the highest is Aware of whatsoever good you do.”

{216}: Fighting [in Allah’s cause] is ordained for you though [due to your nature] it may seem unpleasant to you. Yet it may be so that you may hate something while it is good for you; but you love something else which is bad for you. So Allah Glory to Him in the highest knows [what is suitable for you] while you do not.

{217}: They question you about fighting in the Sacred Month, say: “Fighting therein is [a] crucial [sin,] while obstructing [people] from the path of Allah Glory to Him in the highest, and to be unfaithful to Him, and [to keep people from entering] the Sacred Mosque, and turning its people out of it are even more crucial with Allah Glory to Him in the highest. Even conflict is more crucial than killing.” They will keep on fighting with you until they make you abandon your religion – but if they can manage to do so. In addition, whoever of you abandons his religion and dies when he is an unbeliever, will find his action void – both in this world and the Hereafter. Such people are the inmates of Fire, wherein they will remain [forever].

{218}: In fact, those who have believed, and those who have migrated and volunteered to fight for the cause of Allah Glory to Him in the highest expect to receive Allah Glory to Him in the highest 's Mercy (and Forgiveness,) for Allah Glory to Him in the highest is All-merciful Forgiving.

{219}: (O Prophet,) they ask you about wine and gambling say: “There lies a big sin in them, and also some benefit for mankind. Yet their sin is greater than their benefit.”

In addition, they may ask you: “What and how to spend [in charity]?” Say: “Spend what is beyond your needs.” Thus, Allah Glory to Him in the highest makes (His) Signs clear to you so that you may ponder.

{220}: about this world and the Next – they will [also] ask you about the orphans, say: “To improve their lot is better; and if you have any dealing with them, they are your brothers [deal with them kindly]. Allah Glory to Him in the highest knows the just from the unjust.” If Allah Glory to Him in the highest had desired, He would have put you in hardship; Allah Glory to Him in the highest is indeed the Wise Almighty.

{221}: And do not marry the idolatresses until they believe. A believing bondswoman is superior to a pagan woman, no matter how beautiful she seems to you. Do not let [your believing daughters] marry the pagan men until he believes; a believing slave is better than an idolater, no matter how handsome he seems to you. They lead (one) to the Fire, while Allah Glory to Him in the highest, by His Permission, invites (you) to paradise and pardon. And He describes His Signs to men so that they may take admonition.

{222}: And they question you about [physical contact during] the menstruation, say: “It is just nuisance! So keep away from women during such menstruation. Do not advance them until they are clean. Then after they purify themselves, go to them just as Allah Glory to Him in the highest has directed you to do. In fact, Allah Glory to Him in the highest appreciates those who turn to Him in repentance, and He loves those who purify themselves.

{223}: “Your wives are as plantation for you, so refer to your plantation in any manner you wish [except for the prohibited part, which have been decreed]. And, [by obeying His Commands,] forward good deeds for your souls, and be heedful of Allah Glory to Him in the highest; know that you are going to meet Him – so give good news to the believers.

{224}: “And do not make [the name of] Allah Glory to Him in the highest as an excuse in your oaths as not doing good or acting piously or prompting peace among the people, for Allah Glory to Him in the highest is the Knowing Hearer.”

{225}: Allah Glory to Him in the highest will not take you to account for any idle talk [you use] in your oaths, but He will take you to account for what your hearts have earned [and you utter it purposely]. Thus, Allah Glory to Him in the highest is the most Clement Forgiving.
