The Glorious Qur’an Chapter 2 The Cow (Al-Baqarah) in 286 verses
{26}: Allah Glory to Him in the highest does not waver in comparing things to a mosquito, or even anything minor, [or major] than it. Those who believe know that it is accurate [and right] from their Creator -Nurturer Lord, but the faith-rejecters say: “What does Allah Glory to Him in the highest mean by such a parable!” [In this way Allah Glory to Him in the highest ] guides so many to the straight path, and a great many to the crooked way of astray – but only He causes the transgressors go astray [for they deserve it].
{27}: Those who break the covenant of Allah Glory to Him in the highest after they have pledged to keep it, and sever whatever [good acts, such as relationship bonds that] Allah Glory to Him in the highest has ordered to be joined, also cause mischief on the earth are the losers.
{28}: How dare you disbelieve in [the entity of] Allah Glory to Him in the highest by seeing that you were ‘nil’, He gave you life; then He will cause you to die and once again bring you to life; finally [you will die and] to Him you will be returned!
{29}: He is the One Who created everything on the earth for you-[r provision and comfort,] then proceeded [to form] the heaven and completed it as seven [orderly] heavens; thus, He has full knowledge of everything. One
{30}: And [remember, o Prophet]: when your Creator -Nurturer Lord stated to the angels: “I am about to appoint an exalted ruler on the earth,” they said: “Are You going to place someone there to corrupt it and shed blood, while we celebrate Your praise and glorify Your Holiness!” He stated: “I certainly know what you have no knowledge about.”
{31}: Then He taught Adam all the names [of things, and their use] and next He presented them to the angels and Commanded: “Now, if you are truthful, mention [the nature of] these names to Me.”
{32}: [The angels] said: “But glory be to You, we have no knowledge [about the Unseen] except what You have taught us. In fact, You are full of Wisdom Knowing.”
{33}: [He] stated: “O, Adam! You inform them of the names [and values] of those.” When Adam informed them of their names, [He] stated: “Did I not tell you that I indeed know the Unseen in the heavens and the earth, and that I know what you reveal or what you were hiding.”
{34}: And when We Commanded the angels, “Bow down [as homage] before Adam.” They all bowed down but only Satan refused it, he acted arrogantly and became one of [the foremost] faith-rejecters.
{35}: Then We Commanded: “O Adam! (Both) you and your wife dowel in the Garden of Eden and eat [of everything bountiful] there with pleasure, but do not approach just ‘This’ tree lest you may become one of [the foremost] wrongdoers.”
{36}: But Satan made them slip over it and caused them to be expelled from where they were [living]. So We Commanded: “Down you go! Some [of you people] will become the enemies of the others*. You will have a resting place and enjoyment on the earth for a while – [until your demise, and next Rise].” {37}: Then, [after his beseech,] Adam received some words [of inspiration] from his Creator -Nurturer Lord [and he repented] – whereby He turned toward him for He is the Gracious Remorse-Accepter. …………………………………………………………………..……….. * The enmity between the offspring of Adam and Satan arose since then.
{38}: We Commanded: “Get you down from this (paradise) – all of you, then when My guidance comes to you, and those [of you] who follow My guidance, will have no fear, nor will they grieve.
{39}: But those who disbelieve and deny Our Signs will be the inmates of Fire; they will remain therein [forever].”
{40}: O Children of Israel, remember My blessings that I have bestowed upon you, and fulfill My covenant so that I fulfill My obligations to your covenant, and be heedful of Me!
{41}: And believe in what I have sent down to confirm that (Torah) you already have, and do not be the first one to disbelieve it. Do not trade the Signs of Mine for a petty price; for I am the only One you should be heedful of! {42}: And do not mix up the Truth [sent down by your Creator] with the falsehood [that you have invented,] nor conceal the Truth while you realize it. {43}: And keep up prayer, pay the due welfare tax, and worship along with all those who bow down [to pray].
{44}: Do you command people to be virtuous while you forget it yourselves – even though you recite the Book! Do you not reason it out?
{45}: And seek help through patience and prayer, though it is a hard task except for the submissive – {46}: the ones who are certain to meet their Creator -Nurturer Lord, [in the Day of Resurrection] and to Him they will return.
{47}: O Children of Israel, remember My blessing [and bounties] I have bestowed on you, and that I preferred you to [the people of] the Universe.
{48}: And beware of the Day [of Judgment] when [Justice settles and] no soul will avail another in anyway; neither will intercession be accepted from one, nor will any alternative be taken for it; and they will not be supported. {49}: And [remember] when We rescued you from Pharaoh (’s people) who were afflicting you with a horrible torment – slaying your sons, but sparing your daughters [for slavery]. There was an immense testing from your Creator -Nurturer Lord (in it).
{50}: Also [remember when] We divided the sea for you to save you [when crossing,] but We drowned Pharaoh’s people [who were chasing you] and you were looking on.
